花生凝集素不会凝集正常的人类红细胞，但会强烈凝集神经氨酸酶处理的红细胞。花生凝集素具有与人血清中的抗 T 抗体相似的有效抗 T 活性。凝集素可用于区分人淋巴细胞亚群。
