M199全称为Medium 199，即培养基199，最初被Morgan等在1950年设计用于鸡胚成纤维细胞的营养研究，目前已广泛应用于各种动物细胞的培养，包括一些非哺乳类动物细胞。它具有广泛的物种适用性，特别适用于非转化细胞的培养。M199广泛用于病毒学、疫苗生产以及小鼠胰腺上皮和大鼠晶状体组织原代外植体的体外培养。与其他基础培养基相比，M199包含腺嘌呤、腺苷、次黄嘌呤、胸腺嘧啶和其他维生素等独特的组分。M199不含蛋白质、脂质或生长因子，因此本产品需要补充剂，通常需搭配血清或无血清添加物使用。M199使用碳酸氢钠缓冲系统（2.2g/L），因此需要5-10%CO2环境来维持生理pH值。本产品含有：酚红、L-谷氨酰胺。不含有：丙酮酸钠、HEPES。产品优势： 1、注射用水配制，符合cGMP规定生产，工艺稳定，批差异小。 2、原料均选用自产或者经过严格检测和纯化的低内毒素高纯药用级别原料。 3、严格的质量检测程序，远高于同行业要求指标，产品性能突出，指标媲美进口。 4、热原（内毒素）水平低，减少外源内毒素干扰。 5、进口材质无菌包装瓶，符合cGMP管理规定，优秀的密闭性及内部涂层保护，极大的保证了产品的稳定性。
