易升华。微溶于水，溶于乙醇、苯、乙醚、二硫化碳、苛性碱溶液，三氯化碳、四氯化碳等有机溶剂，微溶于冷石油醚。溶液微黄色或棕橙色，与Co3+、Ru3+、ZrO2+、Fe2+等生成红或蓝色得微溶于水的配合物，可为三氯甲烷、四氯化碳萃取。用作光度法测定钴、钯、锆的显色剂。用作富集Cr3+、Co2+、Fe2+、UO 的共沉淀剂，也用作Ag+、Cd2+、Co2+、Cu2+、Ni2+、Th4+等离子的萃取剂，称量法测定钴的沉淀剂。还用作有机合成中间体。 Used for the removal and preconcentration of Pb(II), Cu(II), Cr(III) from waste, as well as drinking water. It is also used in the preconcentration of cobalt using C(18) microcolumn with flow injection that is coupled to a flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FI-FAAS) system.
