寡霉素C是大环内酯类抗生素的一部分，并且是细胞调节体积减少（RVD）的有效抑制剂。已显示寡霉素可通过阻断ATP5（线粒体F | 1 | F | 0 | -ATPase）来抑制ATP合酶。耐阿霉素的HepG2细胞研究表明，寡霉素可以抑制P-糖蛋白的活性并诱导细胞凋亡。 Oligomycin C is part of a class of macrolide antibiotics and is a potent inhibitor of cell regulatory volume decrease (RVD). Oligomycin has been shown to inhibit ATP synthase by blocking the ATP5 (mitochondrial F|1|F|0|-ATPase). Doxorubicin-resistant HepG2 cell studies report that oligomycin can inhibit the activity of P-glycoprotein and induce apoptosis.
