生化机理

从糖蛋白上释放未取代的Ser-和Thr-连接β-Gal-(1→3)-α-GalNAc（核心1型O-聚糖)。用唾液酸、乳糖胺（半乳糖-N-乙酰氨基葡萄糖）或岩藻糖取代的二糖核心将阻止水解并防止寡糖从蛋白质中释放出来。在使用O-糖苷酶切割之前，可能需要使用糖酵解酶进行预处理以从O-聚糖中去除取代糖。

生物活性

≥10000U/mg protein，单位定义：在 37℃，pH 5.5 条件下，每小时催化1nmol Gal β1- 3GalNAcα1 -Thr 释放所需的酶量。
