磷酸甘油酯（PG）也称为甘油磷脂。它是双层膜的重要组成部分。它具有甘油的三碳骨架、两个长链脂肪酸、酯化成甘油的碳1和碳2上的羟基，以及酯化成甘油的C3羟基的磷酸。它在所有细胞膜中的含量都很高，而在脂肪库（fat store）中含量低。产品应用： 16:0-18:1 PG已用于制备大单室脂质体(LUV)。
