对氨基苄基1-硫代-β-D-吡喃半乳糖苷−琼脂糖已用于纯化环状芽孢杆菌嗜碱菌b-半乳糖苷酶（Bca-b-gal）。它还被用于琼脂糖亲和基质的衍生化，以进行亲和层析以纯化浮游毕赤酵母β-半乳糖苷酶。 p-Aminobenzyl 1-thio-β-D-galactopyranoside−Agarose has been used in the column for the purification of Bacillus circulans sp. alkalophilus b-galactosidase (Bca-b-gal). It has also been used in the derivatization of affinity matrix of agarose to perform affinity chromatography for the purification of P. haloplanktis β-galactosidase.
