苯基膦酰二氯（PPDC）是一种具有阻燃特性的有机磷化合物。应用： 1.PBPP（3,9-二苯基-3,9-二氧杂-2,4,8,10-四氧杂-3,9-二磷螺-5,5-十一烷）的合成，其是另一种有机磷阻燃剂。 2.作为由全氟烷基Grignard试剂合成全氟烷基（苯基）次膦酸的反应物。 3.作为合成苯并恶嗪单体的原料，该单体含有苯基氧化膦，可通过开环聚合反应进行聚合。 4.作为将噻吩并嘧啶二酮转化为4,6-二氯噻吩并嘧啶的氯化剂。
