15（R）-15-甲基前列腺素E2是一种PGE2类似物，它经过酸催化的差向异构化为更具生物活性的异构体15（S）-15-甲基PGE2。已显示该化合物抑制胃酸分泌，并增加十二指肠碳酸氢盐分泌的总输出量和输出速率。 15(R)-15-methyl Prostaglandin E2 is a PGE2 analog which undergoes acid catalyzed epimerization to the more biologicallly active isomer, 15(S)-15-methyl PGE2 . This compound has been shown to inhibit gastric acid secretion and increase the total ouput and rate of output of duodenal bicarbonate secretion.
