氢羧基化反应中作为手性配体；在异构体选择性的mannich反应中，用作手性bronsted酸催化剂。应用 (R)-(−)-1,1′-联萘基-2,2′-双磷酸氢酯是一种有机催化剂，可用于：促进ε-己内酯（环状酯）的受控开环均聚和共聚。与铜催化剂一起用作添加剂，从而在Sonogashira反应中实现最高的催化活性。用于手性布朗斯特酸催化的不对称 Mannich 反应。用于氢羧基化反应的手性配体。与铑络合并调节重氮化合物的不对称偶极环加成反应。许多已证明难以分离的外消旋胺可以使用该手性酸进行分离。钯衍生物已用于不对称氢羧基化反应，并且铑衍生物已用于偶极环加成反应。
