1,2-二油酰基-3-三甲基铵-丙烷，氯化物是一种阳离子脂质，用于将带负电荷的分子转染到真核细胞中。产品用途： 1,2-二油氧基-3-(三甲铵)丙烷(DOTAP)氯化物已用于制备阳性脂质体和脂质体-DNA复合体。它还用于评估肿瘤坏死因子α (TNF- α)的产生。由阳离子脂质体组成的化合物，用于向真核细胞中转染DNA、RNA及其他负电性分子。DNA与DOTAP混合时会自动形成稳定的复合物，后者可直接加入细胞培养基中。这些复合物能够与细胞膜融合并向细胞质中释放DNA。细胞被高效转染的同时不会产生细胞毒性。每μg DNA需使用5-10 μg左右的DOTAP，每mL 细胞培养基需加入约10-20 μg DOTAP。最佳的工作浓度和转染试剂视被转染的细胞系，以及转染试材类型（RNA、DNA、蛋白）而定。 1,2-Dioleoyl-3-trimethylammonium-propane, Chloride is a a cationic lipid used for the transfecting of negatively charged molecules into eurkaryotic cells.
