应用： 2-(4-叔丁苯基)-5-(4-联苯基)-1,3,4-噁二唑（叔丁基联苯基苯基噁二唑，PBD）可作为空穴阻挡材料掺杂多层聚合物发光二极管，以便增强器件效率。它也可作为添加剂，用于制造具有电阻转变特性的聚氨酯(PU)双稳态非易失性存储器。在聚氨酯中掺入PBD后，存储器性能大幅提升，伴随增加两个数量级的开关比和超过5小时的长时保持特性。PBD也是一种有机荧光分子，可用于制造塑料闪烁体。
