氟罗沙星是一种氟喹诺酮类抗生素，是4-氧代-1,4-二氢喹啉，分别在1、3、6、7和8位被2-氟乙基、羧基、氟、4-甲基哌嗪-1-基和氟取代。它对许多革兰氏阳性和革兰氏阴性细菌具有活性。它具有抗菌药物、EC 5.99.1.3 [DNA拓扑异构酶(ATP水解)]抑制剂和拓扑异构酶IV抑制剂的作用。它是一元羧酸、喹啉类、二氟苯、N-烷基哌嗪和氟喹诺酮类抗生素。
