大豆胰蛋白酶抑制剂是一种单体蛋白质，含有181个氨基酸残基，是由两个二硫键连接而成的单个多肽链。处理说明：胰蛋白酶抑制剂能够以10mg/mL溶于水和磷酸盐缓冲液。它能够以1mg/mL溶于平衡盐溶液和无血清培养基中。浓度大于10mg/mL的浓缩液可能浑浊，呈黄色至琥珀色。使用胰蛋白酶消化细胞后，重悬于胰蛋白酶抑制剂溶液中，使得用于解离的胰蛋白酶溶液浓度达到1mg/mL。然后将细胞悬浮液以1000rpm离心，得到细胞沉淀。在2-8°C下短期储存时，溶液可保持活性。溶液分装后可在-20°C冷冻并保持稳定。产品应用：该抑制剂能够在较小程度上抑制胰蛋白酶、胰凝乳蛋白酶和纤溶酶。它还能抑制蛋白酶血浆激肽释放酶和凝血因子X，机制与抑制胰蛋白酶类似。胰蛋白酶抑制剂不会抑制金属蛋白酶、基于组织的激肽释放酶、酸性蛋白酶或硫代蛋白酶。该抑制剂通过与蛋白酶活性位点按1:1化学计量形成复合物，然后在抑制剂上切割单个精氨酸-异亮氨酸键。抑制作用是可逆的且具有pH依赖性。注：mg胰蛋白酶抑制剂将抑制1.0-3.0 mg胰蛋白酶，其中，胰蛋白酶活力约为10,000个BAEE单位/毫克蛋白质。
