XE 991二盐酸盐是KCNQ电压门控钾通道的有效和选择性阻滞剂。阻止KCNQ2 | +3 | / M电流（IC | 50 | = 0.6-0.98μM）和KCNQ1同系通道（IC | 50 | = 0.75μM），但对KCNQ1 / minK通道的效力较弱（IC | 50 | = 11.1 （μM）。应用： XE-991已被利用KCNQ（Kv7.2 / 7.3）抑制剂，以检查M电流抑制是否影响催产素受体（TGOT）介导的去极化。也曾作为 KCNQ 抑制剂用于研究河豚毒素（TTX）存在时小鼠胆碱能中间神经元（ChIs）膜电位超射/欠射的离子机制。 XE 991 dihydrochloride is a potent and selective blocker of KCNQ voltage-gated potassium channels. Blocks KCNQ2|+3|/M-currents (IC|50|= 0.6-0.98 μM) and KCNQ1 homomeric channels (IC|50|= 0.75 μM) but is less potent against KCNQ1/minK channels (IC|50|= 11.1 μM).
