Purity > 97% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses. Function Ligand for CXCR2 (By similarity). Has chemotactic activity for neutrophils. May play a role in inflammation and exert its effects on endothelial cells in an autocrine fashion. In vitro, the processed form GRO-gamma(5-73) shows a fivefold higher chemotactic activity for neutrophilic granulocytes. Post-translational N-terminal processed form GRO-gamma(5-73) is produced by proteolytic cleavage after secretion from peripheral blood monocytes.

生物活性

Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human CXCR2 transfected human 293 cells is in a concentration range of 10-100 ng/ml.
