生化机理

Receptor for BTLA. Receptor for TNFSF14/LIGHT and homotrimeric TNFSF1/lymphotoxin-alpha. Involved in lymphocyte activation. Plays an important role in HSV pathogenesis because it enhanced the entry of several wild-type HSV strains of both serotypes into CHO cells, and mediated HSV entry into activated human T-cells. Post-translational: N-glycosylated.

生物活性

Measured by its ability to inhibit TNF-beta -mediated cytotoxicity using L‑929 mouse fibroblast cells. The ED50 for this effect is 2.5-10 µg/mL in the presence of 50 pg/mL of Recombinant Human TNF‑ beta /TNFSF1.
