碱性成纤维细胞生长因子（bFGF，FGF2或FGF-β）是成纤维细胞生长因子家族中的一员。bFGF是一种单链多肽生长因子，在促进细胞增殖过程中起着重要作用；同时也可以抑制细胞凋亡，加速伤口愈合并诱导血管再生。在中胚层和神经外胚层等多种类型的细胞中，bFGF亦能非常有效地诱导DNA的合成。OsrhbFGF是运用基因重组技术，由水稻胚乳细胞表达并通过蛋白提纯工艺而成。 Basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF, FGF2 or FGF-β) is a member of the fibroblast growth factor family. bFGF is a kind of single-chain polypeptide growth factor, which plays an important role in promoting cell proliferation. It can also inhibit cell apoptosis, accelerate wound healing and induce blood vessel regeneration. In many cell types, such as mesoderm and neuroectoderm, bFGF is also very effective in inducing DNA synthesis. OsrhbFGF is expressed by rice endosperm cells and purified by gene recombination technology.

生化机理

Acts as a ligand for FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3 and FGFR4. Also acts as an integrin ligand which is required for FGF2 signaling. Binds to integrin ITGAV:ITGB3. Plays an important role in the regulation of cell survival, cell division, cell differentiation and cell migration. Functions as a potent mitogen in vitro. Can induce angiogenesis. Mediates phosphorylation of ERK1/2 and thereby promotes retinal lens fiber differentiation. Post-translational: Phosphorylation at Tyr-215 regulates FGF2 unconventional secretion. Several N-termini starting at positions 94, 125, 126, 132, 143 and 162 have been identified by direct sequencing.

Measured in a cell proliferation assay using BALB/3T3 mouse embryo fibroblasts cell line. The ED₅₀ for this effect is typically <1 ng/mL.
