生物活性

Measured by its ability to induce IL-11 secretion by Saos‑2 human osteosarcoma cells. The ED50 for this effect is equal or less than 4.00 ng/mL. The specific activity of recombinant human HGF is >1.0 x 10^6 IU/mg, which is calibrated against the human HGF WHO International Standard (NIBSC code: 96/564).
