生化机理

血清素 B2 又称 PAI-2，是一种约 60 kDa 的丝氨酸蛋白酶抑制剂。它主要由巨噬细胞和单核细胞分泌，可形成二硫键连接的多聚体。血清素 B2 可抑制尿激酶型和组织型纤溶酶原激活剂（uPA 和 tPA）。血清素 B2 还能增强 LRP 对 uPA 的结合和吸收，从而促进 uPA 的清除。它能限制亨廷顿蛋白（HTT）和β-淀粉样肽形成纤维。它能促进偏向 Th2 的免疫反应，对肠道 CCL2 生成、单核细胞募集和线虫清除非常重要。Serpin B2 的非糖基化形式保留在细胞内，通过保护视网膜母细胞瘤蛋白（RB1）不被钙蛋白酶消化，从而干扰 TNF-a 诱导的细胞凋亡。它还能抑制活化的内皮细胞中蛋白酶体的活性。Serpin B2 在 HIV-1 感染的 PBMC 中上调，诱导 RB1 上调，并促进 HIV-1 复制。人 Serpin B2 与小鼠和大鼠 Serpin B2 的氨基酸序列相同度分别为 76% 和 73%。抑制尿激酶型纤溶酶原激活剂。单核细胞衍生的 PAI-2 与内皮细胞衍生的 PAI-1 不同。翻译后：信号序列不会被裂解。
