In recent years, our country has paid more and more attention to food microbial testing and food safety. On October 1, 2008, the "Food Quality Control Specification, Food Microbial Testing" (GB/T27405-2008) standard came into effect, requiring laboratories engaged in food microbial testing in our country to have standard strains for testing. Its function is to "accept the medium (including kit), verify the method and evaluate the experimental operation through the standard culture," so as to ensure the reliability of the testing process and results. Article 58 of the new Food Safety Law, which came into effect on June 1, 2009, stipulates that "inspectors shall, in accordance with the provisions of relevant laws and regulations, ensure that the inspection data and conclusions issued are objective and fair, and shall not issue false inspection reports." To ensure the objectivity and fairness of test data and conclusions, it is essential to use standard strains and positive control strains for testing.
As the only national-level microbial resources preservation and management agency in our country's food industry, relying on the existing rich industrial microbial resources and good information data, CICC has carefully studied the relevant standards related to the detection of microbial strains at home and abroad, such as "GB/T 4789 Food Hygiene Microbiological Inspection", "GBT 8538-2008 Drinking Natural Mineral Water Inspection Method", "GB 5413-1997 Infant Formula Food and Milk Powder", "Disinfection Technical Specifications", "Cosmetics Hygiene Specifications", "GBT 1741-2007 Paint Film Mold Resistance Testing Method", "GJB 150.10-86 Military Equipment Environmental Test Method, Mold Test", "GBT 2423.16-1999 Electronic and Electrical Products Environmental Test" and ISO Standards, US Pharmacopoeia, etc Or the physiological, biochemical, morphological and other requirements of the detected strains in the specification, screening and establishing a series of positive control strains for inspection standards, which are used by food supervision and management departments, inspection and quarantine institutions, health and epidemic prevention departments, colleges and universities, scientific research institutes and food enterprise microbiology laboratories to meet the needs of these units and institutions for positive control strains in daily testing.
