MEI medium usage:
Weigh 72.0g of this product, heat it and dissolve it in 1000ml of distilled water, divide it into triangular bottles, 200ml per bottle, autoclave at 121 ° C for 15 minutes, and cool it to about 50 ° C, add 4.8% naphthyl ketone acid solution 1ml (add a few drops of 0.1N NaOH solution to dissolve) and 0.4% TTC solution 1ml to each bottle, mix well, pour into a sterile flat dish, set aside.
Configuration of 4.8% naphthyl ketone acid:
Weigh 4.8g of naphthyl ketone acid dry powder, add a small amount of purified water and a few drops of 1mo/Lsodium hydroxideDissolve the solution, add purified water to 100ml, filter and sterilize, or autoclave at 121 ° C for 15min.
0.4% TTC configuration:
Weigh 0.4 g TTC and dissolve in 100 ml of distilled water, filter and sterilize.
Characteristics of bacterial colonies on MEI medium:
