Clozapine is a potent 5-HT1C receptor antagonist with an IC50 of 110 nM for 5-HT-stimulated phosphoinositide hydrolysis. Selective antagonist for D4-dopamine receptor. Antagonist at 5-HT2A, 5-HT2C, 5-HT3, 5-HT6, and 5-HT7 serotonin receptors.
