易溶于乙醇、乙醚、丙酮和氯仿等，溶于苯，不溶于水。能随水蒸汽挥发。应用：对-茴香醛可作为三重敏化剂，催化卤代烷在烯烃上的光化学原子间转移自由基加成(ATRA)。[1]它可用于合成2-(4-甲氧基苄基)-N-(4-(N-(1-苯基-1H-吡唑-5-基)磺胺基)苯肼卡波硫代酰胺。它还可用作检测非UV活性物质的薄层色谱(TLC)染色剂。 p-Anisaldehyde may be used as a triplet sensitizer to catalyze the photochemical intermolecular atom-transfer radical addition (ATRA) of haloalkanes onto olefins. It can be used to synthesize 2-(4-methoxybenzylidene)-N-(4-(N-(1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)sulfamoyl)phenyl) hydrazinecarbothioamide. It is also used as a stain for detecting non UV-active substances using thin layer chromatography (TLC).
