（5Z）-7-氧杂烯醇是一种天然抗原生动物抑制剂，不可逆的选择性抑制 TAK1和 VEGF-R2，IC50值分别为 8 nM 和 52 nM。应用（5Z）-7-氧杂烯醇用于：1.用作转化生长因子β激活激酶1(TAK1) 抑制剂，作用于人类结肠癌细胞；2.用作TAK1特异性抑制剂对小鼠腹腔注射，能造成主动脉缩窄；3.用作TAK1抑制剂处理细胞，用于荧光酶素报告基因检测；4.测试生长分化因子（GDF2）介导的失巢凋亡。 5Z-7-Oxozeaenol is a potent, irreversible and selective inhibitor of transforming growth factor (TGF)-β-activated kinase 1 with IC50 of 8.1 nM for TAK1 and low activity against MEK1 with IC50 of 411 nM, it is also an inhibitor of VEGF-R2 with IC50 of 52 nM.
