Weigh 47.9g of this product and add 1000ml of distilled water, heat to dissolve and keep stirring, boiling for no more than 1 minute. Separate triangular bottles, autoclaved at 121 ° C for 15 minutes. Take 1ml of the prepared sample solution and add it to the center of a 9cm sterile flat dish with a diameter, pour it into the medium and cool it to 45-50 ° C for about 15ml, mix well, and after solidification, culture inverted at 36 ° C for 18~ 24h.
Or when cooled to 45-50 ° C, pour into a sterile plate, and after the agar is completely solidified, place it upside down in an incubator at 37 ° C for 1-2 hours, add 1ml of sample solution with appropriate dilution, and apply it to the medium. Cultivate at 36 ° C for 18-24 hours.

Limitations of the method
This medium identifies coliform bacteria. In rare cases, false positives may occur, but no false negatives may occur. Sometimes additional tests may be required.
